I’m a thirty-five year old geek, currently living in Dublin, Ohio, a lovely ‘burb on the north end of Columbus. I was born in Texas and, thanks to dad being in the Navy my whole life, moved around A LOT. I’ve lived in Ohio twice as long as I’ve lived anywhere else, over twelve years now, so I consider myself an Ohioan.

I’m married and have two awesome little girls. My life with them is pure awesomeness.

I have a good job, but I don’t define myself by what I do. Building and maintaining database servers is a skill I posses and it pays the bills. I would stop doing it tomorrow if I had some other way to pay the bills, which is kinda the whole idea behind this website.

I am currently working to build other online businesses. The more passive my income, the better. Ideally, I would love to work the four-hour work week.

Tim Ferriss is my new idol.

I’m a libertarian who votes republican. I’m not a conservative, a fascist, or a theocrat. I believe in freedom, and that includes economic freedom. Republicans have a mixed record on social freedom, but Democrats have a losing record on economic freedom. That’s why I vote Republicans. And that’s as political as I intend to get on this blog.
