Just asking, because the subscriber count has been disabled, and the comments have been flipped off and on a few times. A lot of the recent content seems to be reposts of older material. The content is still, laughably, written in the first person, as if it's still the same person behind the blog. While I'm sure Kumiko was always a character played by a handful of hired writers, it just seems silly now that we know there's a new owner behind the blog, and the content is clearly not being written by the same person or people. I unsubscribed several weeks ago, and only check back occasionally when I feel like I need a downer. ...

I miss my juicer

We needed to save some money recently to help pay for the extra expenses of the holidays. My wife and I were making a very strong effort not to finance Christmas using the credit cards, and we were about 95% successful in that regard. Overall, it was very good year, and I'm pretty sure our families appreciated the $10 gifts as much as they appreciated the more expensive gifts of previous years.
